Technician Code of Conduct & Job Requirements Policy

Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to establish professional standards, ethical conduct, and operational expectations for all technicians representing Mobile Mechanic King in the field.
Mobile Mechanic King technicians represent the brand directly in customers’ homes, workplaces, and roadside environments. Professionalism, honesty, and safety are mandatory at all times.
1. Professional Conduct Standards
All Mobile Mechanic King technicians must maintain the highest level of professionalism while representing the company.
Technicians must:
• Treat every customer with respect and courtesy
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor
• Communicate clearly and honestly with customers
• Follow all Mobile Mechanic King service procedures
• Protect the company’s reputation and brand
Technicians may not:
• Argue with customers
• Use profanity or abusive language
• Perform unauthorized work
• Solicit personal work from Mobile Mechanic King customers
• Accept payment outside the Mobile Mechanic King system
Violation of these standards may result in suspension or removal from the network.
2. Appearance & Uniform Standards
Technicians represent the brand and must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Required attire:
• Mobile Mechanic King branded shirt or approved uniform
• Clean black work pants
• Closed-toe work boots or safety shoes
• Proper hygiene and grooming
Not permitted:
• Torn clothing
• Offensive logos
• Dirty uniforms
• Intoxication or drug impairment
3. Customer Interaction Policy
Technicians must maintain excellent customer service at all times.
Technicians must:
• Introduce themselves upon arrival
• Confirm the vehicle issue before beginning work
• Explain diagnostic findings clearly
• Provide repair options when applicable
• Obtain approval before performing repairs
Technicians must never:
• Pressure customers into repairs
• Misrepresent vehicle problems
• Perform unnecessary repairs
• Accept off-platform payments
4. Safety Requirements
Safety is a top priority.
Technicians must follow all safety procedures including:
• Proper jack and jack stand use
• Wheel chocking when necessary
• Battery disconnection when required
• Wearing safety glasses when appropriate
• Maintaining safe work areas
Technicians must never perform unsafe repairs that could endanger themselves or the customer.
5. Diagnostic Integrity
Mobile Mechanic King operates on honest diagnostics.
Technicians must:
• Accurately diagnose vehicle issues
• Document findings when necessary
• Recommend only necessary repairs
Fraudulent diagnostics or intentionally misleading customers will result in immediate removal from the network.
6. Payment Policy
All customer payments must be processed through Mobile Mechanic King systems.
Technicians may not:
• Accept direct payment from customers
• Provide personal invoices
• Offer independent pricing to Mobile Mechanic King customers
All pricing must be approved through the Mobile Mechanic King dispatch system.
7. Confidentiality
Technicians must protect company information.
Confidential information includes:
• Customer contact information
• Company pricing structures
• Technician network information
• Internal processes and procedures
Sharing confidential information may result in termination.
8. Social Media Conduct
Technicians may not post the following online:
• Customer information
• Photos of customer vehicles without permission
• Negative statements about customers or the company
Positive brand promotion is encouraged.
9. Illegal Activity Policy
Mobile Mechanic King has zero tolerance for illegal activity.
Prohibited conduct includes:
• Theft
• Fraud
• Drug use while working
• Driving under the influence
• Harassment or discrimination
Violations will result in immediate termination.
10. Conflict of Interest
Technicians may not:
• Steal customers from the company
• Redirect Mobile Mechanic King leads to personal businesses
• Perform private work for Mobile Mechanic King customers
This protects the integrity of the network.
11. Job Requirements
To qualify as a Mobile Mechanic King technician, candidates must meet the following requirements.
Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years automotive repair experience
• Ability to diagnose common vehicle issues
• Ownership of professional-grade tools
• Reliable service vehicle
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background verification
Preferred qualifications:
• ASE certification
• Mobile mechanic experience
• Diagnostic equipment ownership
• Customer service experience
12. Required Tools & Equipment
Technicians must own or have access to the following equipment:
• Professional mechanic tool set
• Floor jack
• Jack stands
• Diagnostic scan tool
• Multimeter
• Battery tester
• Torque wrench
• Power tools
• Brake tools
• Cooling system pressure tester
Additional specialty tools may be required for certain repairs.
13. Service Vehicle Requirements
Technicians must operate a reliable service vehicle.
Vehicle must:
• Be insured
• Be mechanically safe
• Carry necessary tools
• Maintain a professional appearance
14. Availability Expectation
Technicians must maintain consistent availability for dispatch.
Expectations:
• Accept service calls within designated service area
• Maintain communication with dispatch
• Respond promptly to work reques
15. Performance Standards
Technicians must maintain high service standards.
Performance metrics may include:
• Customer satisfaction
• Diagnostic accuracy
• Job completion time
• Professional conduct
Technicians who repeatedly fail to meet standards may be removed from the network.
16. Agreement
By joining the Mobile Mechanic King network, technicians agree to:
• Follow all company policies
• Maintain professional conduct
• Represent the Mobile Mechanic King brand with integrity
Failure to follow these standards may result in suspension or termination from the network.
